The Natural State

So call me crazy but I happen to love living in Arkansas! Now I'm not necessarily saying I want to stay here for the rest of my life... Especially in Mena... But I can't imagine growing up anywhere else. I wouldn't want to! Sure Mena is literally the middle of nowhere... There is nothing to do and not so much culture, but it's BEAUTIFUL!

Travis and I went to Arkadelphia today to do some stuff at OBU and get some job applications. On the way home I was concentrating really hard on not going to the bathroom in his car seat and I really checked out the scenery. It is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL here! Even in the heat of July when the temp gets over a hundred... Still so pretty! I love it! I lived in Florida for three years and sure the beaches were pretty and all but nothing compares (in my opinion) to growing up in the heart of the Ouachita mountains! (Don't I make it sound romantic?)
